  We needed a car fast for my fiance, and of course we settled at this place, "Evans junk yard." And thats exactly what it is. Their motto should be "Selling lemon cars to dumb idiots with no credit." Upon arrival they seemed like pleasant people. We purchased a 2004 Accord, valued at $3000, that we were gonna actually gonna end up paying well over $10,000 for. Red flags everywhere but dumb ole me let them slide over my head. We had the car 3 weeks and thats it. The A/C didnt work (they promised to have that fixed but never could, apparently the piece being ordered just wasnt coming in.), the interior was demolished and destroyed, the headlights on the left were busted, some wiring under the hood was done wrong, and the odometer read 34,xxx miles. Yup. And I know you're thinking "only thirty four thousand miles on a 2004 model car? Thats awesome." No it isnt... Because we actually found out through our insurance company the car had been previously wrecked, and they tripped the odometer back. The true reading was 234,xxx miles. And it was squeezed into our paperwork that the odometer was tripped back. (Which we did not see).... Oh I also forgot the power steering failed multiple times, and just so happened to fail one night when my fiance drove his 8 month pregnant sister to the store. It almost resulted in a fatality. The car went airborn, hit a drain pipe, and hit the ditch... the scariest night of my life. We drove to their shop the next day, explained what happened, and asked if we could have some of our down payment back... The owner laughed in our face and told us he really didnt care one bit about anything that happened, told us to get out of his shop, and that he'd be looking forward to his check in the mail from our insurance company to finish paying the car off..... if this doesn't change your mind about Evans junk yard, what will?
